Timber decking, built-in seating and planters transform an empty roof into an outdoor living room.
Weight limits, wind and waterproofing govern rooftop work. We used lightweight composite substructure, fibreglass planters with olive trees, and a louvred pergola for shade. Built-in seating with hidden storage and a fire table make it the client's go-to space for entertaining against the skyline.
